Each year that our DEMTA Festival is held, we hold a POSTER CONTEST where we seek donations that will each be used to sponsor a poster! This year, for our 30th anniversary, we’re hoping to receive 30 donations. On this poster we have some kind of music theory/history question. We make sure that we have posters that include some very beginning level questions, and a few that include some more advanced music theory questions.

This is always a super popular attraction at the festival, because not only does it cause a distraction from the “nerves and other feelings” that students might be experiencing, but it also is a fun and engaging activity that students get excited about since they can try for a chance at some great prizes.

We’re looking for prizes that kids might be interested in, such as gift cards to fun activities or places they like to eat at, music books, games, etc.

Both students of DEMTA teachers and non-DEMTA teachers are welcome! However, there is an additional charge for non-member students. Non-Member fees: $50/ teacher plus $60/solo, $60/composition, $75/duet, and $90/trio.
